The sun gleamed in the deserted sky
The vicious tide angrily slammed onto the rocks
Sun soaked sand shone golden
The bright yellow rock pools hid all sorts of creatures
The salty aroma overwhelmed the water
Soundless, there was an illusion that there was nothing there
Although deep down fantastical free fish swam gracefully
The seaweed free fully swayed with the tide
The sight of another world was astonishing
A school of fish hastily swam by, trying to be ignored by us
A dark long eel slid across like a shadow in the water
Forests of seaweed spanned vastly across the reserve
Littered across the floor paua shells lay on on the seabed of the shallows
The beach expanded and the sea moved away
What wonderful place
