(Report Writing) The Holocaust

This post is extremely late ,but otherwise enjoy:

In a time between 1933 and 1945 an event called the holocaust occurred, for many innocent people were killed with the world ignoring it to later give everything they could to stop it.  As it was because of people's races and their beliefs,  it was a heinous act from the Nazis that still known today.  I will be going over this time in history.

It is hard to tell when the holocaust started, for some say it was when the Nazi party was elected in 1933.  The holocaust wasn’t recorded with a date of start, but it ended in 1945.  The world ignored it for a while even though they knew it was happening before they acted ,therefore; extending the devastation it caused and time it took to stop it.

The Nazi party lead by Adolf Hitler in their time of diplomatic control over germany from 1933 to 1945 created laws against under the name of ‘The Final Solution’ for the Jewish people, Gays and Gypsies living in Germany at the time.  This law was enslave and kill the groups that were listed.  The idea was hated by the German people even though it didn’t effect them.  It was a inhuman act from the Nazi party ruling Germany at the time and is still despised of today.

It started in Germany,  concentration camps were made to enslave and kill.  They had labour camps where they would work the people to death by not giving them what is required to live and constantly hurting them or killing them if they did bad.  Other camps were for cramming people in and slowly killing them, and with the name of this type of camp is a ghetto.  They would herd people into a rooms and close the doors and would release poisonous gases into the room.  After the people were dead they would incinerate their bodies to free up space.  Then in WW2 these camps were in Nazi controlled territory, for until the end of WW2 with the camps being shut down with the fall of the Nazis.

In 1939 World War 2 started when germany invaded poland.  The war was event worse than the holocaust in the number of casualties, but it stopped the heinous act the Nazis were doing which was the holocaust.   It ended in 1945,along with the end of WW2, for Germany was defeated with their political leader dead along with its government.  The war had stopped the holocaust, but had destroyed the homes of the affectees of the holocaust.

During the holocaust local communities didn’t ignore it, with many people affected by ‘Final Solution’ mainly children were being hidden in another family's to avoid the torture.  As well there were rescue attempts on the concentration camps to free captives from their imprisonment inside of the ghettos, these attempts were carried out by all sorts of people even Nazi party members helped in these times, many of these stories have come to light and these people saved many innocent lives.

The Nazi Party used propaganda on the public to persuade the population to hate jews.  It went as far as the jewish people had to wear a star that identifies them and if they don’t wear it they’ld punished.  The jewish people also were prohibited from many common public places and activities.  The propaganda was based on the jewish community being responsible for germany's financial crisis that implicated the people that the people in the Nazi Party knew about it and they’ld be able to stop it, for with them being elected
causing these events.

The holocaust was an attempt by the Nazis to commit genocide on anybody that didn’t reflect the purity of the german race.  Ultimately unsuccessful as the final result was the formation of Israel cementing the jewish people into one nation.  I feel this event in history is sometimes overlooked that not just the jewish people died, with many other races and people being affected by this that need mentioning for what they endured as well for the jewish people.  The scale of the holocaust was immense with only in a few years did such devastation occur and claim so many lives.  It is an example of power being used for havock and greed, for this being a repeat of circumstances that have happened in the past.   I hope this has informed you and thoughter more has clarified any questions surrounding the holocaust.
